Consular Services Overview

The Honorary Consulate of Latvia in Amman provides important non-visa-related services and represents Latvia’s interests in Jordan. While we do not issue visas or passports, we support Latvian citizens and help foster bilateral relations.

General Inquiries

Providing reliable information about Latvia, consular matters, and bilateral ties.

Support for Latvian Citizens

Advising and assisting Latvian nationals residing or traveling in Jordan with consular needs.

Welfare and Whereabouts

In collaboration with Latvian authorities, we help track the whereabouts of citizens and assist in welfare-related cases.

Issuing Return Certificates

For Latvian citizens with a lost or expired passport, we may issue a return certificate to facilitate travel back to Latvia.

Cultural & Diplomatic Representation

Promoting Latvia’s presence through participation in public events, working with Jordanian institutions, and collaborating with embassies and consulates.

Visa Services

Latvia is part of the Schengen Area. Therefore, all tourism, study, work, or medical travel visas to Latvia are Schengen visas.

Processing applications
Issuing visas
